Hartin Dynamics President Dennis Hartin and Newgentek Senior Vice President of Customer Success Patrick Tolliver spent some time together to chat about solving tech challenges for clients of all sizes.
They talk about culture and the ramifications they are seeing from a remote work environment. Businesses are feeling intense challenges when it comes to infrastructure, security, and support. There are serious “need it now” projects to manage where urgency is critical to operations. Patrick points out that long-term planning is so important to continue down this path for supporting employees and clients.
Now what? As businesses realize they may not be as well prepared as they thought they were, Patrick recommends an analysis as the first step to understanding where there are gaps. He sees many businesses who had chosen to operate with a shoestring IT budget, now feeling some real pain. Outsourcing to IT experts may be an option to consider.
“You can’t NOT spend money in technology and maintain a business. You just can’t do it.”
Newgentek was named the 2019 Small Business of the Year Winner (Startup) by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. We are excited to see their good work continue and grow.
